Russo-Ukraine War - 10 September 2025 - Day 1295

A number of claims and counterclaims are being made on the Ukraine-Russia conflict on the ground and online. While GlobalSecurity.org takes utmost care to accurately report this news story, we cannot independently verify the authenticity of all statements, photos and videos.

On 24 February 2022, Ukraine was suddenly and deliberately attacked by land, naval and air forces of Russia, igniting the largest European war since the Great Patriotic War. Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a "special military operation" (SVO - spetsialnaya voennaya operatsiya) in Ukraine in response to the appeal of the leaders of the "Donbass republics" for help. That attack is a blatant violation of the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. Putin stressed that Moscow's goal is the demilitarization and denazification of the country. The military buildup in preceeding months makes it obvious that the unprovoked and dastardly Russian attack was deliberately planned long in advance. During the intervening time, the Russian government had deliberately sought to deceive the world by false statements and expressions of hope for continued peace.

"To initiate a war of aggression... is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole." [Judgment of the International Military Tribunal]

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that in total, since the beginning of this day, there have been 153 combat encounters. Ukrainian defenders continue to decisively interrupt the attempts of the Russian enemy to advance deep into Ukrainian territory, giving him a fiery impression.

Russian zagarbniki carried out two missile and 45 aviation strikes, using 44 missiles and dropping 64 controlled bombs. In addition, they used 1989 kamikaze drones for impressions and carried out 3338 shelling positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements.

Seven combat clashes took place in the Northern Slobozhansky and Kursky directions. The Russian enemy launched 10 air strikes, dropped a total of 24 controlled air bombs, and carried out 182 artillery shells, including nine from reactive arsenal systems.
Today, Russian forces attacked 13 times in the south-Slobozhans .komu direction, in the area of Vovchanska, Barnoy and Odradnoy. Six combat clashes are ongoing so far.
In the Kupians ніkomu direction, Russian forces made four attacks in the area of Mirnogo, Kupians .ka and Borívs спроkoí̈ andriyivka.
In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 17 assault actions in the areas of settlements Grekivka, Serednoe, Kolodyazi, Stavki, Torske and Shandrigolove. Eight more combat clashes are still ongoing.
In the sívers хkomu direction, the Russian enemy 17 times attacked in the areas of serebryanka, grigorívka and in the direction of viymki.
Since the beginning of the day in the Kramatorsky direction, Russian units attacked five times in the area of Bila Gora, Maysky and in the direction of Stupochok and Predtechniny.
13 combat clashes took place in the Toretsky direction today. Russian forces tried to storm the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Scherbinivka, Oleksandro-Kalinovy, Pleshiyivka, Rusynoy Yara, Poltavka and in the direction of Berestko, Sofiyivka. The three clashes are still ongoing.
In the Intercession Direction, since the beginning of this day, the Russian enemy attacked 39 times in the areas of settlements Volodymyrivka, Vilne, Golden Well, Nikanorivka, Rodinske, Ray, Fox, Novoekonomíčne, Mirolubivka, Zvirove, Udaachne, Dachne, Novoukrainka. Ukrainian defenders hold the pressure of the Russian opponent, one confrontation is still ongoing.
Today in this direction, according to preliminary data, 112 Russian occupants have been defiled, of which 77 - irrevocably. In addition, Ukrainian soldiers destroyed two artillery systems, one car, 18 BplAs, a special equipment unit, Bpla control point and an ammunition warehouse. The artillery system, the vehicle unit and the Russian enemy's REB device were damaged.
In the Novopavlovsky direction, Ukrainian defenders repelled 24 Russian attacks in the areas of settlements Filiya, Oleksandrograd, Maliivka, Olgivskie, Tolstoy, Piddubne, Novoivanivka and in the direction of Ivanivka.
In the direction of Gulyaipils рkomu, Russian forces once stepped on the position of Ukrainian defenders in the area of Bilogir. The aviation strike of unkekorovanimi rockets was hit by Zalíznyčne.
In the Orihiv direction, the Russian opponent once carried out offensive actions in the area of Plavniv, received a detachment.
In the Pridniprovsky direction, Ukrainian units repelled two Russian attacks in the direction of Antonivka and Sadovy.
