PLA Rocket Force - Order of battle

The main formation for the Rocket Force, each Base has 3-7 jurisdictions and headquarters, political department, logistics department and technology Equipment Department and other agencies. There are 8 military bases (including 2 training Bases and 6 launch bases). The missile brigade is the "basic combat unit" of the Rocket Force. Under the jurisdiction are 4-6 launch battalions (basic firepower units) and other support units; each battalion has jurisdiction over 2-3 firing companies.

The original 9 bases (51, 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 22, 28), the number has not changed. The base number was changed from the original 5th to the 6th. The code name still starts with 9, 966? ? Troops, but the serial number changed. The new arrangement order was: the original 51 base is changed to 65 base, 52 base is changed to 61 base, 53 base is changed to 62 base, 54 base is changed to 66 base, 55 base is changed to 63 base, 56 base is changed to 64 Base, 57 base (engineering base) changed to 68 base, 22 base (equipment) changed to 67 base, 28 base (training) changed to 69 base.

There are typically 6 battalions per brigade, 6 launch vehicles per battalion, for 36 vehicles, each launch vehicle has 4 missiles. With 100% calculation of proper rate, it can be estimated that each brigade has 144 missiles; if calculated at a proper rate of 80%, each brigade can be estimated that the combat readiness missiles are 112-116 missiles.

Since 1993, the Peoples Army began to form in the coastal areas of the mainland Battle Tactical Missile (Ballistic Missile) Brigades.
