PLA Rocket Force 61st Base (Huangshan City, Anhui Province)
61st Base of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Army, located in Huangshan City, Anhui Province, is the People's Liberation Army Rocket Force. The People's Liberation Army Rocket Army deployed at the 61st Base (formerly the Second Artillery ForceBase 52), mainly targeting Taiwan and Okinawa, equipped with short and medium-range campaign tactics ballistic missiles. The brigade has 7 missile brigades.
In August 1965, the headquarters of the 52nd Base of the Second Artillery Corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (headquarters unit 121) was stationed in Guangyang Town, Shitai County, Anhui Province, where it was responsible for the construction of missile positions. In June 1966, the 303 Project Command was formally established. On May 25, 1968, the Central Military Commission approved the change of the 303 Project Command to the 52nd Base of the Second Artillery Corps of the People's Liberation Army, located in the Nanjing Military Region of the People's Liberation Army. In 2016, in the deepening of national defense and military reform, it was changed to the 52nd base of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Army.
On April 18, 2017, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, State President, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, received the chief officers of the newly adjusted 84 military units in the Bayi Building in Beijing, and issued instructions to each unit; members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, Xu Qiliang, Vice Chairman of the Central Military Commission, read out the order and decision issued by Chairman Xi Jinping of the Central Military Commission on the adjustment and formation of military arms and units of the provincial military district system [3]. In this adjustment and formation of military units, based on the 52nd base of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Army, the 61st base of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Army was adjusted and formed.

Dongfeng- 21C missiles-with a range of 1800 kilometers and a hit error of about 50 meters,Configure a variety of conventional warheads-group bullets, oil-gas warheads, mother-child warheads, electromagnetic pulse bombs,Anti-electromagnetic radiation warhead.
