PLA Rocket Force 67 Base

The 67th base of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Army, located in Baoji City , Shaanxi Province, is a base of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Army.

In September 1958, on the basis of Shangqiu Bu School of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, the Chinese People's Liberation Army 0674 unit was formed in Haiyan County, Qinghai Province, under the Central Military Commission. In 1965, it was transferred to the National Defense Science and Industry Commission.

In 1969, the troops moved to Shaanxi Province. Unit 80310 was established in Haiyan County, Qinghai Province in September 1958 on the basis of Shangqiu Bu School of the Chinese People's Liberation Army. It was called Unit 0674 and was affiliated to the Central Military Commission. In 1969, the troops moved to Shaanxi. In 1980, he was transferred to the Second Artillery Corps, called the 80310 Unit. The organ has a headquarters, political department, logistics department, and equipment technology department. The leaders of the army successively are: Commanders: Jia Ganrui, Hong Youdao, Cui Yongzhi, Yin Hongqin; Political members: Yao Shumei, Tian Yuan, Shi Chengxin, Sun Fu, Lu Xiliang; Chief of Staff: Liu Feng, Fan Zhichi, Han Zhenhe, Dong Qingfu ; Director of the Political Department: Chen Weizhou, Liu Dingfu, Xu Zhiyi, Wang Zhenwu, Lu Xiliang.

In 1980, it was transferred to the Second Artillery Corps of the Chinese People's Liberation Army, called the 22nd Base of the Second Artillery Corps of the People's Liberation Army (code-named Chinese People's Liberation Army Unit 80310, later changed to Chinese People's Liberation Army Unit 96401) The institution had a headquarters, political department, logistics department, and equipment technology department.

In 2016, in the deepening of national defense and military reform, it was changed to the 22nd base of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Army. On April 18, 2017, Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, State President, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, received the chief officers of the newly adjusted 84 military units in the Bayi Building in Beijing , and issued instructions to each unit; members of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee , Xu Qiliang, vice chairman of the Central Military Commission, read out the Central Military Commission's order and decision issued by Chairman Xi Jinping regarding the adjustment and formation of military arms and units of the provincial military district system. In this adjustment and formation of military units, based on the 22nd base of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Force, the 67th base of the People's Liberation Army Rocket Army was adjusted and formed.
