  • ATK Receives New Order for Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment (MOLLE II) Kits ATK 10 May 2010 -- Alliant Techsystems (NYSE: ATK) announced today that its Eagle Industries, Unlimited subsidiary has received a delivery order from the U.S. Army to produce Modular Lightweight Load-Carrying Equipment (MOLLE II) kits in a new camouflage pattern, that the Army chose specifically for the Afghanistan conflict. Eagle will begin delivery of the MOLLE II equipment kits by the end of August, 2010 to support the U.S. Army's operational needs in Afghanistan.
  • Boeing Unveils Unmanned Phantom Ray Demonstrator Boeing 10 May 2010 -- The Boeing Company [NYSE: BA] today unveiled the fighter-sized Phantom Ray unmanned airborne system, a test bed for advanced technologies.
  • Delivery of RAAF Air Tanker Support Equipment to Begin EADS 10 May 2010 -- As part of the Commonwealth’s AIR 5402 acquisition process under which Airbus Military is providing the RAAF with five such aircraft, designated by the air force as KC-30A MRTT, some 4,500 individual components - 500 units of Ground Support and Test equipment and 4,000 spares - will be delivered to 33 Squadron at RAAF Amberley, in Queensland, Australia, over the next three months.
  • Oshkosh Corporation Receives $410 Million Delivery Order For Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles Oshkosh 10 May 2010 -- Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), a leading manufacturer of specialty vehicles and vehicle bodies, announced today that its Defense division has received a delivery order valued at more than $410 million from the TACOM Life Cycle Management Command (LCMC) for the production and delivery of 2,634 Family of Medium Tactical Vehicles (FMTV) trucks and trailers for the U.S. Army. This award is for deliveries scheduled between March and December 2011. To date, Oshkosh Corporation has received orders valued at more than $690 million under the five-year FMTV requirements contract.
  • U.S. Air Force Awards Raytheon $34 Million for Laser-Guided Maverick Raytheon 10 May 2010 -- The U.S. Air Force awarded Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) $34.4 million to continue design work on the AGM-65E2/L laser-guided Maverick missile, the newest variant of the Maverick. The contract requires Raytheon to develop, integrate and test the missile's guidance and control section.
  • SAIC Awarded $128 Million Contract By U.S. Army to Support Army Sustainment Command SAIC 10 May 2010 -- Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced that it has been awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Army to provide support services to the Army Sustainment Command (ASC) Distribution Management Center. The contract has a six-month base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total value of more than $128 million if all options are exercised. Work will be performed primarily at the Rock Island Arsenal in Illinois and at other U.S. Army sites worldwide.
