Serbia Finds Mass Grave Of Kosovo Albanians
May 10, 2010
Serbia has discovered a mass grave with the bodies of about 250 ethnic Albanians believed to have been killed in the 1998-99 conflict in Kosovo.
Serbia's war crimes prosecution office said the grave was found in Raska in southern Serbia.
The Kosovo conflict between Serbian forces and ethnic Albanian rebels ended after a NATO bombing campaign in 1999 ousted Serbian armed forces from the province.
In 2001, the remains of more than 830 Kosovar Albanians were found at three sites in Serbia.
