U.S. Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle aircrews provided armed overwatch for friendly ground forces and Coalition forces. Friendly ground forces reported enemy fire and aircrews conducted a show of force to deter an ambush against Coalition forces. U.S. Air Force F-15-E aircrews provided armed overwatch for friendly forces. Aircrews conducted a show of force to break hostile contact when friendly forces reported taking enemy fire. Ground controllers confirmed the show of force successful.
Later, additional U.S. Air Force F-15-E aircrews provided armed overwatch for friendly forces and conducted a show of force to deter anti-Afghan forces activity . Ground controllers declared the show of force successful.

U.S. Air Force F-16C Fighting Falcon pilots provided armed overwatch for friendly forces. Aircrews conducted a show of force to break contact with enemy forces firing small arms at a friendly-forces patrol. Pilots also conducted a show of presence to deter enemy engagement during a medical evacuation operation. Joint terminal attack controllers declared all actions successful.
