Tu-160 BLACKJACK (TUPOLEV) - Units
The Russian Long-Range Air Force now has 17 Tu-160 bombers in active service as of 2018, which should now gradually upgrade to the Tu-160M standard. One new Tu-160M1 (the 17th) was commissioned in 2018. All current aircraft are to be modernized to the "M2" standard, with another 10 Tu-160M2 on order. In addition to them, however, two more pieces fly as test machines and there are still several others that are stored, although their commissioning is probably no longer planned. The following is an inventory of all manufactured aircraft, which contains the serial number, the fuselage number (if there are two separated by a slash, the older one is indicated first and then the later one, or the current one) and the "personal" name.
