  • Ukraine: Switzerland extends sanctions listings Federal Council - Swiss Government 12 Aug 2025 -- On 12 August, the Federal Department of Economic Affairs, Education and Research (EAER), which oversees Switzerland's sanctions, extended sanctions lists relating to Russia. In doing so, Switzerland has adopted a series of amendments introduced by the EU as part of its 18th package of sanctions. These measures take effect on 12 August.
