Oboronlogistika
LLC Oboronlogistika is a shipping company established under the Russian Ministry of Defence. The main tasks of Oboronlogistika LLC are to meet the needs of the russian ministry of defence in the transportation, storage and production of military and special-purpose goods. Oboronlogistika LLC is the sole provider of transport services for the ministry of defence of russia, transporting troops to certain regions of russia and delivering cargo to the temporarily occupied Crimea (Ukraine).
By participating in supplying military equipment to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, LLC Oboronlogistika is supporting materially actions which undermine and threaten the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine. Department of Commerce Bureau of Industry and Security [BIS] added Oboronlogistics Limited Liability Company; aka Oboronlogistics LLC; aka Oboronlogistika LLC; aka Obshchestvo S Ogranichennoi Otvetstvennostyu `Oboronlogistika' to the Entity List on 22 June 2017 for violating international law and fueling the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
These additions ensure the efficacy of existing sanctions on Russia. The Entity List (Supplement No. 4 to Part 744 of the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)) identifies entities and other persons reasonably believed to be involved in, or that pose a significant risk of being or becoming involved in, activities that are contrary to the national security or foreign policy of the United States. The EAR imposes additional licensing requirements on, and limits the availability of most license exceptions for, exports, reexports, and transfers (in-country) to those persons or entities listed on the Entity List. BIS imposes a license requirement for all items subject to the EAR and a license review policy of presumption of denial.
Limited Liability Company Oboronlogistics was created within the structure of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation in 2011. Since 2015, Oboronlogistics LLC has been operating within the structure of the Military Construction Complex of the Russian Ministry of Defense. The main objectives of the Company are to guarantee the needs of the Russian Ministry of Defense in the field of transportation, storage and production of military and special-purpose products. At the same time, the leadership of the Russian Ministry of Defense set the company's management the task of diversifying its activities through effective work in the civilian market of transport and logistics services.
Since 2015, the Oboronlogistics Group of Companies has grown into a large and efficient business structure, the Oboronlogistics brand has become a symbol of an active and successful player in the Russian transport and logistics services market, and the company itself has become a notable member of the professional community. The company operates successfully and is rapidly increasing its activities in the freight transportation market in the segments of sea, air and land transport, as well as warehouse logistics.
OOO Oboronlogistika:
- has the status of a shipping company and is the owner of sea vessels that successfully operate in the waters of the Black and Mediterranean Seas, the Baltic, Arctic and Far East;
- carries out cargo transportation both on the domestic and international markets, using its own and contracted sea, air, road and rail transport;
- develops and organizes project transportation of goods;
- is the exclusive charterer of aircraft of the Military Transport Aviation of the Russian Ministry of Defense for the transportation of products created within the framework of the State Defense Order and Military-Technical Cooperation with foreign countries, including hazardous and oversized cargo;
- has a license to carry out work related to the use of information constituting a state secret and a license to transport dangerous goods by water/sea transport;
- has its own IT platform and Situational and Logistics Center, designed for planning and end-to-end control of the entire logistics chain, from the receipt of an order to the delivery of cargo to the recipient. The IT platform processes calculations not only for sea, air and road, but also for multimodal transportation, and is designed to work with all types of vehicles.
In addition to solving a wide range of logistics tasks in the interests of the military department, the enterprises of the Oboronlogistics holding successfully work with such government customers as the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Russian National Guard, Rostec State Corporation, Rosoboronexport JSC, Roscosmos State Corporation, and also interact with a number of large civilian commercial organizations.

- AO 1470 UMTO - Provides a full range of services for responsible storage and handling of goods (including loading and unloading operations, cross-docking, order picking and shipment of goods by consolidated wagons, containers, road trains (including shipment of heavy and oversized goods, special equipment on railway platforms), delivery of processed and packaged goods from warehouses to the end consumer, manufactures furniture and reinforced concrete products, owns warehouse complexes and port terminals throughout Russia.
- OBL TRANS - Provides organization of transportation by road and rail, as well as integration into a single chain of all transport resources of the Oboronlogistics Group of Companies.
- OBL-SPETsTRANS - Manages road and rail transportation, provides freight forwarding and transport services on special routes. Works with all categories of cargo, including hazardous, oversized and military cargo. Expands its own vehicle fleet.
- BID - Automates freight transportation, allows for efficient planning, dispatching, prompt dispatch of cargo at minimal cost, and also carries out constant monitoring at all stages of the provision of transport and logistics services.
- SK-ARCTICA - Has the status of a shipping company. The main task is to manage the safe operation of ships, delivery of any types of cargo by inland water and sea transport, including to facilities in the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation.
- SK NORTH-WEST - Located in St. Petersburg, the main activity is the implementation of sea transportation in the Baltic Sea and towing along inland waterways. Has a license to carry out work related to the use of information constituting a state secret and a license to carry out the transportation of dangerous goods by water/sea transport.
- SK-VOSTOK - Located in Vladivostok, it specializes in providing comprehensive transport and forwarding services in the Far Eastern Federal District.
- SK-YUG - Located in Novorossiysk. Specializes in providing comprehensive transport and forwarding services in the Southern Federal District.
The Company's production assets included 8 modern, fast, reliable and safe sea vessels of various types with an unlimited navigation area. There is a large fleet of containers and special equipment (Novorossiysk). In particular, Oboronlogistics LLC owns three universal dry cargo ships (Sparta, Sparta II, Ursa Mayor) of the RO-RO/LO-LO (horizontal and vertical loading) type, which are designed for transporting cargo in trailers, containers, as well as transporting rolling equipment, trailers and semi-trailers.
