This subcourse is designed to teach about the procedures for defensive electronic warfare (EW). It provides techniques for anti-electronic countermeasures (anti-ECM) and anti-electronic warfare support measures (anti-ESM). It identifies sources of electromagnetic interference and defines staff responsibility for electronic counter-countermeasures (ECCM).
The prerequisite for this subcourse is that you are a graduate of the Signal Officer Basic Course or its equivalent.
