- IRAQ WRAP VOA 11 Nov 2004 -- The Pentagon's top general says U.S.-led forces in Fallujah now control about 70-percent of the city and have captured or killed hundreds of insurgents even as tough street battles continue. On the fourth full day of the ground assault, insurgents struck back with fresh attacks in other parts of Iraq, including in Baghdad where a car bomb killed at least 17 people.

- Raytheon -- Bofors Successfully Conduct World's First GPS Guided 155mm Artillery Shell Flight Test Raytheon 11 Nov 2004 -- In a first-of-a-kind test earlier this month, the Raytheon Missile Systems and Bofors Excalibur team successfully fired a global positioning satellite-guided 155mm artillery shell, which guided to a target aim point 20 kilometers down range. The shell hit less than 11 feet from the aim point, well within the performance specification of Excalibur.
- Boeing ScanEagle UAV Surpasses 1000 Flight Hours in Iraq Boeing 11 Nov 2004 -- ScanEagle, a long-endurance fully autonomous unmanned aerial vehicle developed by Boeing [NYSE:BA] and The Insitu group, this week surpassed 1,000 flight hours during operations in Iraq.
