15th Signal Brigade
"Do The Right Thing"
The 15th Regimental Signal Brigade is a TRADOC unit and the parent unit of the United States Army Signal Corps' training battalions, located at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Its mission is to transform basically trained soldiers, who live by the seven Army values, into highly motivated, self-disciplined, physically fit, and technically knowledgeable Signal and Ordnance Warriors able to immediately contribute to the Army's mission.
The 15th Signal Brigade was constituted on 30 November 1940 as the 15th Signal Service Battalion. Activated on 1 December 1940 at Fort Monmouth, NJ, it was redesignated on 15 September 1941 as the 15th Signal Service Regiment; and on 14 December 1942 as the 15th Signal Training Regiment. It was disbanded on 31 May 1945 at Fort Monmouth, NJ.
Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 15th Signal Training Regiment, was reconstituted on 23 September 1986 as Headquarters and Headquarters Detachment, 15th Signal Brigade and tranfered to the United States Army Training and Doctrine Command and organized at Fort Gordon, GA.
