Musudan-ri/Musudan-ni Missile Test Facility

Imagery 11 March 2009

New satellite images were taken by the GeoEye-1 satellite on 11 March 2009. The images at the Musudan-ri launch facility shows no visibly significant activity.

The launch tower appears to have an environmental shroud covering the service levels. It is possible that the shroud is obscuring a missile or satellite launch vehicle, although reports from US and South Korean intelligence official stress that a missile or launch vehicle has not been moved to the launch pad.
