Russia has regained further positions on the western side of Ukraine's Kursk incursion, while Ukraine has continued assaults around Vesoloe further west. Russia has entered the stronghold of Vuhledar after taking new positions to both the north and west. Vuhledar has been a focus of Russian assaults for almost 2 years. Russia has continued its advances in the vicinity of Pishchane, pushing north and also west. They are now just 2km from cutting Ukraine's positions east of the Oskil in two. Russia has also taken control of, and advanced beyond, Kyslivka to the north. Russia has consolidated control in the Pokrovsk direction taking positions between the settlements of Hrodivka and Novohrodivka. Russia has taken full control of Ukrains'k and continued to advance west. Russia has secured most of Makiivka, crossing the Zherebets' river at multiple points within and around the settlement. Russia has continued advances southeast of Sivers'k, this time advancing along the rail line to the city.
