Russia has secured more territory to the east of Chasiv Yar. Further south, Ukraine has counterattacked and regained ground between Ivanivske and Klishchiivka. Ukraine update for the past 10 days. Northwest of Avdiivka, Russia breached the Ukrainian line at Ocheretyne taking most of the settlement and capturing Soloviove and Novobakhmutivka. Russia has also advanced in Semenivka and Berdychi. Ukraine carried out a small counterattack in Pervomais'ke. Ukraine has regained ground east of Terny. Russian forces have captured the settlement of Novomykhailivka, located south of Marinka.

Russo-Ukrainian War - 25 April 2024 - Day 792

The breach at Ocheretyne widens as Russia captures most of the settlement, along with Novobakhmutivka and a portion of Soloviove. Despite Ukrainian reinforcements arriving, they have so far been unable to prevent Russia from establishing a foothold around the settlement. Ukraine's fortifications in Zaporizhzia are steadily expanding, with new positions identified weekly and two main lines forming mirroring the Russian defences. The rear line is more complete although it still largely lacks the 'dragon's teeth' used as a secondary barrier.
