Ramzan Kadyrov - Awards & Honors

In 2004, Ramzan Kadyrov, was awarded the title - Hero of Russia. In August 2005, he was awarded the medal "Defender of the Chechen Republic."

In June 2006, Kadyrov was in Dagestan State Technical University Ph.D. thesis on "Optimal management of the contractual relationship between the main participants of building production" (specialty "Economics and management of national economy").

In 2006, R. Kadyrov an honorary member of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences. On March 5, 2008 Kadyrov received a certificate of a member of the Union of Journalists of Russia, but the next day, the secretariat of the Union reversed the decision as contrary to the statute.

According to the press service of the Chechen president, November 10, 2009, the Day of militia Dmitry Medvedev signed a decree on awarding R. Kadyrov rank of major general of militia (the decree #1259) for services in organizing and conducting security operations against members of illegal armed groups. On the official website of the Russian president the decree had not been published.

Kadyrov also has an honorary academician of the Academy of Sciences of the Chechen Republic, an honorary professor at several universities of the Russian Federation, honorary citizen of the Chechen Republic, Honored Worker of Physical Culture, the honorary president of the motion of Afghan Veterans of the Southern Federal District. Chechnya's highest award - the Order of Akhmad Kadyrov. He was awarded the Order "For Merit" of the fourth degree, Order of Courage, medals "For Distinction in Protection of Public Order", "For Distinction in the All-Russia population census", "For the liberation of the Crimea", "For the development of parliamentarism in the Chechen Republic", was Kazakhstan's award - a medal "10 years of Astana" and many public awards.

March 9, 2015, Ramzan Kadyrov, was awarded the Order of Honor "For labor achievements, social activities and many years of conscientious work".
