  • General Dynamics Awarded $18 Million for Production of M2HB Machine Guns General Dynamics 26 Oct 2006 -- General Dynamics Armament and Technical Products, a business unit of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), was awarded an $18.4 million contract from U.S. Army Tank Automotive Command, Rock Island, Ill., for the production of M2HB machine guns.
  • SAIC Wins Geospatial Research, Integration, Development and Support Contract SAIC 26 Oct 2006 -- Science Applications International Corporation (NYSE: SAI) announced today that it has won a contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to provide engineering services and geospatial support for the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center -- Topographic Engineering Center (ERDC-TEC).

CACI is one of just seven prime contractors on the S3 program, which has a total estimated ceiling value of $19.25 billion. The new award, which has a 24-month base and two 12-month options, calls for CACI to provide logistics support services to a new client for the company, the U.S. Army Project Manager, Tactical Radio Communications Systems (PM TRCS). CACI has now been awarded an estimated $225 million in S3 task orders in just the first six months of the contract.
