Echo Company, NMCB 27
Echo Company is located and drills at one of the Detachment sites located in New York and Vermont. Company personnel drill one weekend per month at one of these different Detachment sites and each member also performs two weeks of active duty training (AT) each year. Typical drill weekends include general military training, defensive combat strategies, physical training, and small local construction projects. Periodically, company personnel drill at one location for weapons qualification, CBR training, and RRR to increase and renew other required skills.
Its missions is to perform safe, responsive, quality construction and defensive operations to support NMCB 27 for the Navy, Marine Corps, and other customers in support of military and crisis relief efforts.
