HARDEFCOM 110, HDCU 110
HDC Unit 110 is CINCPACFLT/MARDESPAC Joint Coast Guard/Navy deployable unit; providing harbor defense, force protection and coastal warfare command, C4I supporting exercise and operational needs for 3rd, 5th and 7th Fleet AOR's.
The first of nine Navy Harbor Defense Commands was commissioned August 3, 1996 at Fleet Combat Training Center Pacific in San Diego.
Harbor Defense Command (HDC) 110 provides mobile command and control for Navy and Coast Guard harbor defense, port security and coastal sea control units. Formerly called Composite Naval Coastal Warfare Detachment 110, the new command consists of about 36 Navy and Coast Guard reservists.
