332nd Transportation Battalion (Terminal)

The distinctive unit insignia was approved on 23 Jun 2000, consisting of a shield blazoned: Or (Golden Yellow), a vol surmounted by an arrow point to base Gules (Brick Red); issuing from base a demi-wheel Gules (Scarlet) garnished of the first. Attached below the shield a Red scroll doubled and inscribed "STALWART" in Gold. Brick red and golden yellow are the colors traditionally used by the Transportation Corps. The vol and arrow refer to the air offensive against Japan in which the unit participated with distinction during World War II. The demi-wheel is derived from an antique Japanese example and recalls the sun symbol of Imperial Japan. It alludes also to transportation. Scarlet denotes courage and sacrifice, golden yellow signifies excellence.

On 5-6 Aug 2000, CW5 Newton presented a briefing to the Commanders of the 32d Trans Group (Composite), 332d Trans Bn (Terminal), and their senior staff in Tampa, FL. The briefing focused on the Watercraft MOS' 88K and 88L courses that have been converted to Total Army Training System Courseware (TATS-C).
