- MNF-Iraq: 10th Mountain Division Joins First Team CENTCOM 17 Jul 2004 -- Approximately 2,000 Soldiers from 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division out of Fort Drum, N.Y. recently convoyed from Kuwait to Baghdad. The 2-10th will serve with the 1st Cavalry Division for one year at Forward Operating Bases throughout Baghdad.
- MNF-Iraq: Combined forces detain four, foil IED attack CENTCOM 17 Jul 2004 -- Iraqi National Guardsmen and soldiers from the 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team) detained four people wanted for anti-Iraq activities and Iraqi police thwarted a roadside bomb attack Thursday.
- MNF-Iraq: Combined forces detain six, foil two roadside bomb attacks CENTCOM 17 Jul 2004 -- Iraqi Security Forces and soldiers from 3rd Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division (Stryker Brigade Combat Team) detained six people wanted for anti-Iraqi activities and foiled two roadside bomb attacks Friday in Northern Iraq.
- IRAQ/BOMBING VOA 17 Jul 2004 -- Iraq's new justice minister escaped an assassination attempt Saturday, but at least four other people were killed in a bomb blast near his convoy. Insurgents have vowed to kill interim government leaders in Iraq, claiming they are collaborators with coalition forces.
