Zebari was invited to attend the meeting after an hours-long debate among League ministers yesterday. Much discussion also centers on U.S. foreign policy in Iraq in the wake of U.S. President George W. Bush's speech on 7 September, in which he said UN member nations were obligated to take a greater role in rebuilding the country.
