Tu-134
The Tu-134 was designed in the 1960s under the Soviet Union at the Tupolev design bureau. The aircraft was based off of the Tu-124 design with its engines moved to the rear of the aircraft. The first development Tu-134 was flown in 1962 and production began two years later. The Tu-134A was a slightly lengthened variant of the original design and was used primarily by the Aeroflot, the Russian airliner. The Tu-134A could seat up to 76 passengers and a later variant, the Tu-134B had capacity for up to 90 passengers.
