Dmytro Oleksandrovich Razumkov
Dmytro Oleksandrovich Razumkov was chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the 9th convocation
Razumkov was born on October 8, 1983 in Berdychev, Zhytomyr region. His father - Oleksandr Razumkov - was a politician, former deputy secretary of the National Security and Defense Council. Died in 1999. His mother is Natalia Kudrya - People's Artist of Ukraine.
In 2007, he graduated with honors from the T.G. Shevchenko Institute of International Relations of Kyiv National University with a major in "international economic relations". In 2011, he graduated with honors from the National University of the State Tax Service of Ukraine, majoring in "Jurisprudence".
He worked in the field of political consulting and technology since 2006. He held managerial positions in the commercial, public sectors and political parties. He worked in the Ministry of Regional Development, in the service of the Deputy Prime Minister, as an adviser to the head of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration.
From 2006 to 2010, he was a member of the "Party of Regions". From 2009-2011 he worked in management positions in the commercial sector. In 2010-2014 he worked with Serhiy Tigipko, whom Dmytro's father knew from the days of his work in the Dnipropetrovsk Komsomol, and whom Oleksandr Razumkov proposed for the position of deputy prime minister in the government of Pavel Lazarenko. From 2013-2014 he was adviser to the Chairman of the Kirovohrad Regional State Administration (Andrii Ivanovych Nikolayenko). In 2015-2019 he served as director and managing partner of the Ukrainian Politconsulting Group consulting company, of which he is a co-owner.
During the 2019 presidential elections of Ukraine , he worked as a spokesman for candidate Volodymyr Zelenskyi. In 2019 he was chief adviser on political issues for the headquarters of the candidate for the President of Ukraine Zelenskyi. From May to November 10, 2019, he was the head of the Servant of the People party. In the 2019 parliamentary elections, he was elected a People's Deputy of the 9th convocation from the "Servant of the People" party , number 1 on the list.
On August 29, 2019, he became the 14th Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, receiving a record level of support — 382 votes. Non-partisan, not a member of any committee (ex officio). In December 2019, he was included in the rating of "100 most influential Ukrainians", taking the 7th place. He was a Member of the National Investment Council (since December 24, 2019). He served as the head of this party until November 10, 2019. In the declaration for 2019 , he stated UAH 28,000 of income from the "green tariff".
On October 7, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada recalled Dmytro Razumkov, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada, from his post. 284 People's Deputies voted for it.
Subsequently, Razumkov announced the creation of the inter-factional deputy association "Reasonable Politics" in the parliament . The declared goal is to coordinate the efforts of people's deputies to "build Ukraine as a legal state with high economic potential." In 2022, he signed an appeal to the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada, Ruslan Stefanchuk , with the demand to include in the agenda of the next session legislative initiatives related to the deprivation of powers of people's deputies and deputies of local councils who were elected from banned pro-Russian parties.
He is married. Raises two sons - Oleksandr and Oleksiy.
