AN-140-100 Interior

New interior of An-140-100 designed and manufactured by InterAMI ensures the utmost safety and comfort for passengers and turns the flight into a truly enjoyable experience.

An-140-100 main cabin door is located on the left side of the aircraft, aft of the wing. Aircraft entrance stairs are provided with handrails and floodlights for passengers' comfort and safety. The wardrobe and the luggage compartment for bulky carry-on items are located on the left. Wide central aisle and comfortable aircraft seat pitch provide easy access to passenger seats. Ergonomically advanced armchairs and low noise and vibration inside the cabin contribute to easy communications between passengers. Folding tables installed in seat backrests serve as meal trays and work surface.

An-140-100 has a very soft overall lighting. Light that comes from behind of ceiling and window panels is sufficient for reading in flight, and visually enlarges the space of the passenger cabin. Window panels with built-in shutters have modern look and feel and are very convenient for passengers to use. Aircraft windows in An-140-100 emphasize the feeling of comfort and safety. In process of An-140-100 aircraft interior design and manufacturing InterAMI Interior used the best environment-friendly and fire-safe materials, certified for aviation, and the most advanced technologies of aircraft interiors production.

The emphasis was put on the high quality of every interior detail as well as aircraft interior as a whole. This is especially true for An-140-100 aircraft interior as each and every element of it contributes to creating the overall feeling of comfort and convenience.

A lot of attention was paid to the design and construction of passenger armchairs. New ergonomically advanced passenger armchairs installed in AN-140-100 aircraft passenger cabin have high headrests and armrests thus providing the improved level of comfort as compared to the previous generation of regional aircraft. Armrests are equipped with individual remote controls for switching channels and adjusting the volume of sound in headphones. Multi-channel DVD player is installed in An-140-100 for broadcasting music programs.

Above each passenger seat an individual passenger service unit with adjustable lighting and ventilation systems is located. Flight attendant's call button is also included into the service unit. In front of the service panel there is a loudspeaker with two indicating panels. The lids of overhead stowage bins are pulled inside when opened (the unique internationally patented design allows to place the luggage inside the bin without overcovering the light that comes from behind of the ceiling panels). This engineering solution enables the passengers to place their carry-on items without disturbing each other. Stowage bin locks are reliable and secure, and would not unlock accidentally regardless of any flight conditions.

Spacious passenger cabin of An-140-100 facilitates the servicing of passengers during the flight. The kitchen block of An-140-100 contains everything necessary for heating and serving food on board. The aircraft is equipped with a convenient lavatory unit fitted with modern sanitaryware.
