Parachute Manufacturing is the only professional parachute manufacturer in China. It is responsible for the manufacture and maintenance of various aircraft covers, interception nets, canvas products and shoulder, collar and armbands. The service targets cover the army, navy and air forces. Including all kinds of army personnel parachutes and flares parachutes, navy sunken sea mine parachutes, and various sewing products such as air force personnel parachutes, drag parachutes and aircraft cover cloths.
In view of the fact that the domestic COVID epidemic had not slowed down, the masks required for epidemic prevention became the daily essential supplies of the National Army. The Armament Bureau planned to build 2 automatic mask production lines at the 209th Parachute Factory in Qingshui, Taichung. It basically had a production capacity of 100,000 masks per day.
