For the ‘Orion’ - and in the future for other medium or heavy attack UAVs - a whole range of guided aerial bombs were created. They are made in calibers of 20 and 50 kg. The main one is the UPAB-50 planning aerial bomb with a warhead from the ‘Grad’ rocket system. A similar charge is carried by the KAB-50 unit, which can be equipped with an infrared, video and laser homing head.

At the Army-2020 International Military-Technical Forum, the Kronstadt company for the first time presented to the general public an air reconnaissance complex with long-range unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) with the ability to perform reconnaissance and strike missions "Orion" with aviation means of destruction (ASP) of our own design and development of other enterprises. Prior to this, at MAKS-2019, Orion was presented only with a fire-fighting bomb - an ASP-500 aviation fire extinguisher. A weapon control system has been installed and tested on the Orion - these are high-precision aviation weapons with a caliber of 50 kg or more.
