Barnaultransmash

Joint stock company [KHK] Barnaultransmash is a specialized enterprise for construction and production of ship, industrial, transport diesels, electrical apparatuses and mini- TETs (heat and power plant), stationary and ship diesel generators. The produced diesels widely are used on the river and seagoing vessels, the multiaxial chassis and the catepillar cross-country vehicles, the machines of airfield maintenance, the diesel-powered switch engines, the drilling rigs, at the stationary and mobile electric generators.

The history of the Barnaul Plant of Transport Machine Building conducts its report from terrible military neccessity, when Fascist aggressors took the most important industrial centers of the country, and approached the Volga shores. Literally under enemy fire, the factory was dismantled and the equipment of the enterprise was exported from Kharkov and Stalingrad to the east of the country, into the distant Siberian village, into Barnaul. In August 1942 the future Transmash began to unload. Wooden housings with the smithy, the foundry and machine shops simultaneously were raised. And already on November 6, 1942 - birthday of plant! - underwent testing the first diesel.Within the shortest period it was arranged the release of diesels V-2 for the T-34 tanks, which were so sharply required the front. Thus began Barnaul Transmash. By the end of the war it produced 10 thousand engines for T-34 tank, which composed one fourth of all tank engines of those prepared in the military time by the diesel-constructing plants of the country. And made thus its contribution to the victory over the Fascist aggressors.

For the successful accomplishment of state objective in the production of tank engines by the Decree of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR dated April 30, 1945 of [godazavod] it was rewarded with the Order of Lenin. After the war Transmash, on the base of diesel V-2, put into production the six-cylinder engine D6, from which conducts its genealogical the family of Altai diesels. Over the years the plant mastered release all of the new modifications of the engine D6 and then D12 of those widely adapting in different branches of national economy. At present enterprise has in the production more than 450 modifications of diesels and diesel generators.

So to the second-half of the 1940s and the beginning of the 1950s the enterprise within the framework of the first conversion for restoring the national economy were developed and mastered in the series production the main marine engines of 3D6 (6Ch15kh18) and 3D12 (12Ch15kh18) with the reverse-reduction transfer by power 150 and 300 hp respectively, which placed basis to the wide family of diesels of the type D6 and D12. On the base of these diesels in the 1950s ship, stationary and mobile diesel-generator installations with a power of 100 and 200 kW were developed and mastered in the production.

A constant modernization of engines, the output of new product - all this required and scale and technical reequipping "trans-Masha", growth of its technical power. And in the 1960s and 1970s occurred seemingly second generation of plant. The shops of the veteran underwent radical reconstruction: foundry blacksmith, fuel equipment and others. The large complex of machine shops Was built from the assembly line of which in the 1960s descended a new universal transport engine UTD-20. This engine became base for the family of the engines [UTD], which are produced by the enterprise at present.

Engine UTD-20 was delivered to the production at the end of the 1960s and the beginning of the 1970s, after ensuring the creation of the new class of the combat vehicles of the infantry and other articles. Engine found a use as main ship, and also in the easy small diesel-generator installations. In the middle of the 1980s was delivered to the production the 10-cylinder, V-shaped engine UTD-29 with a power of 500 hp.

At the end the 1980s, the beginning of the 1990s within the framework of the new conversion of production were created the national-economic modifications of the engines of family [UTD]. In the period 1989-1990 work was carried out on the development of concept and setting to the production of the new family of the high-speed diesels of the multipurpose designation [BMD] of the dual purpose. As a whole family are 3,4,8 and 12 drum engines in the power range from 150 to 1800 hp of wide national-economic designation. Separate modifications BMD are made in the experimental production.

Is in 1994 developed the concept of setting to the production of the family of the Diesel engines of small dimensions a in power range 30. 80 hp is in 1998 begun their series production. On the base of the Diesel engines of the family of Venyukovsky Fittings Plant are developed small diesel generators by power 16, 24 and 30 kW. Conducting the complex of works made it possible to enlarge the nomenclature of output and power the range of energy-aggregates. The Diesel engines of [BTM]- VENYUKOVSKY FITTINGS PLANt are established on the automobile of Venyukovsky Fittings Plant -21045.

Is in 2000 mastered the production of energy-aggregates with a power of 100, 200 and 315 kW on the base of engines of the type Of [d]6 and [D]12. Is simultaneously began the production of gazoporshnevykh mini-TETs (heat and power plant) with a power of 100, 200 and 315 kW and by heat output 150, 300 and 400 kW respectively.

At present enterprise is a public corporation by holding company, which has complete industrial-technological cycle, including stockpiling, forging and pressing, metallurgical, assembly productions, and basic production.
