Ships of project 97P Ivan Susanin

  1. PSKR "Ivan Susanin" - entered service on December 31, 1973. Part of the Kamchatka military flotilla of the Pacific Fleet. It was not part of the border troops, it was built immediately for the Navy, without weapons. In 1979 he took part in the meeting of the nuclear submarine "K-320" which made the transition from the Northern Fleet to the Pacific Fleet. Provided the cruise of the nuclear submarine of the Pacific Fleet "K-212" under the ice of the Chukchi Sea.
  2. PSKR "Iceberg" - entered service on February 6, 1975. Soon, together with the border patrol ship "Sakhalin" (project 745P) crossed the Northern Sea Route to the Far East, became part of the 1st division of the PSKR with the base in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. PSKR repeatedly came out to detain the ships of violators and poachers. In addition, the ship participated in rescue operations: 03/05/1977 - in a storm, rescued 28 sailors from the trawler "Svobodny" and 8 sailors from the trawler "Tymovsk" who capsized on the boat to the trawler "Svobodny". All sailors had to be rescued by helicopter. In March 1978 he rendered assistance to the sailors of the Volochaevsk motor ship in distress in the Litke Strait. June 23, 1983 assisted in the rescue of sailors from the nuclear submarine "K-429" sunk in the Saranaya Bay. In October 1984, he rescued sailors from the ice-covered trawler Zavetny. In 2006 he was expelled from the MCHPV of Russia.
  3. PSKR "Ruslan" - entered service on September 25, 1975. It is part of the Red Banner Northern Fleet as a patrol icebreaker. In 2002, it underwent a major overhaul.
  4. PSKR "In the name of the XXV Congress of the CPSU" , from 11.04.92, "Anadyr" (when the bookmark was called "Dnepr") - entered service on September 30, 1976. Soon it crossed the Northern Sea Route to the Far East, became part of the 1st division PSKR based in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. In 1997 - 2001, he was a member of the separate Magadan battalion of border patrol ships. Participated in the patrol service off the coast of the Far East, inspected violators' ships. Participated in the expulsion of the famous ship GRINPIS "Rainbow Warrior" from the territorial waters of the USSR. He also took part in the search for the crash site of the South Korean Boeing-747. 10/24/2000 on board the PSKR there was a strong fire, which destroyed all available means of communication, as well as burned out many other rooms. The crew was able to cope with the fire and arrived under their own power at the home port. From 2001 to 2003 the ship was under repair, but it was not of high quality and after a short service of 915 days) the ship again got up for a two-year repair. After its completion, the ship again became part of the MCHPV of Russia.
  5. PSKR "Danube" - entered service on December 30, 1977. Soon it crossed the Northern Sea Route to the Far East, became part of the 1st division of the PSKR with the base in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Participated in the rescue of the pilots of the American patrol aircraft "Orion" that fell into the Bering Sea in 1978. He also participated in many other operations to detain poaching ships.
  6. PSKR "Neva" - entered service on December 29, 1978. Soon he tried to go to the Far East, but the attempt was unsuccessful and the ship remained in the North for patrol duty, waiting for the next year for the transition. In 1980, together with two PSKRs 745 of the project, they crossed the Northern Sea Route to the Far East, while they also provided the transition of the nuclear submarine "K-223". The port of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky became the permanent base, but in 2000-2002 the ship was temporarily part of a separate Magadan division of the PSKR. During his service, he conducted many searches of ships, confiscated several hundred tons of illegally caught seafood.
  7. PSKR "Volga" - entered service on December 26, 1980. Soon it crossed the Northern Sea Route to the Far East, became part of the 1st division of the PSKR with the base in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Throughout the 80s, the ship actively served for the protection of the sea borders of the USSR, participated in many arrests of poaching ships, and also participated in rescue operations. In May 1990, for the first time since the Great Patriotic War, a Soviet ship arrived on the shores of the United States with a friendly visit to the port of San Francisco on the occasion of the 200th anniversary of the US Defense Forces; on this occasion, two 45 mm salute guns were installed on the ship. In 2005-2006, the ship was overhauled.
  8. PSKR "In the name of the XXVI Congress of the CPSU" , from 11.04.92, "Irtysh", from 9.02.2000, "Murmansk" - entered service on 25 December 1981. In 1982, moved to the place of permanent basing Kuvshinskaya Salma (1 OBRPSKR). For the first time in the history of the border troops of the USSR / Russia, he made a trip to the Franz Josef Land archipelago, installed a border post there. It went on a friendly visit to Iceland.
