IJN Kamoi Seaplane Carrier

The Kamoi was built in the United States as an oiler between 1921 and 1922. Approximately a decade later, she was converted into a seaplane carrier similiar to the conversion that the Notoro underwent. She could handle a maximum of 25 aircraft. Like the Notoro, she was converted back into an oiler after the Pacific War had begun and served in this capacity until she was sunk in the harbor of Hong Kong by American aircraft. After the war, her hull was raised and scrapped.
