1st Battalion, 2nd Brigade

The 1st Battalion, 2nd Brigade of the 1st Division was former known as the 3rd Battalion.

The arrival of what was then known as the Iraqi Intervention Force's 3rd Battalion recruits coincided with the opening of An Numaniyah Base on Sept 1, 2004.
