Fortunately, this is the portion of Doshan Tappeh airfield that is of most interest. It probably contains the Headquarters of several Iranian military organizations, including the the Air Force, Revolutionary Guards, and the Revolutionary Guards Directorate of Intelligence.

The southern part of the base has several dozen large adminstrative buildings and what appears to be a logistics warehouse complex.

The northern part of the base appears to be the Air Force Headquarters with adminstrative, barracks or military quarters, family housing, a parade ground, and athletic complex.

These large warehouse buildings in the southern part of the base are probably associated with the Air Force Logistics Command.

This area of the northern part of the base probably contains the Air Force Headquarters complex.

The athletic complex in the northern part of the base includes a track, a soccer field, and a large swimming pool.

This 10,000 square foot building was build sometime after 1995. Its purpose has not been identified. (Source: DigitalGlobe - 11 August 2003)
