Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV 90)
The larger 90 meter Offshore Patrol Vessel (OPV 90) high speed vessel is based upon the OPV 80, with increased mission capability. The Fassmer OPV 90 has an increased top deck area, allowing it to operate larger helicopters, up to 5 boats, a complete suite of sensors and weapons and is foreseen to operate modular units for AUVs and AAVs. The vessel can accommodate more than 100 persons, a whole armada of small test boats with special functions and provides landing space for a 12 t helicopter. It can be equipped with a main gun like the OTO Melara 76mm. Fassmer has kept the proved and tested features of the OPV 80, including its exceptional sea-keeping characteristics and multifunctional naval and patrol equipment.
