707th Research Institute CSIC

The 707th Research Institute of the China State Shipbuilding Corporation is a high-tech institute for mechatronics. It was built in 1961 and Zhang Zongxi was currently the director. More than 1600 employees, more than 60% of engineering and technical personnel, one academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 26 researchers, 8 national and ministerial experts, more than 700 senior and intermediate technical personnel, more than 500 skilled workers, and more than 60 million yuan in fixed assets ( RMB). There is a perfect quality assurance system, which is the ship navigation product technology testing center and the national secondary measurement unit. The high-tech products mainly include marine navigation products such as inertial navigation system, platform compass, radio navigation, integrated navigation system, boat system, and log instrument, as well as phosphating spray automatic production line and microcomputer controlled resistance welding machine series. More than 400 items of environmental reinforcement microcomputer series, aerospace and land inertial sensors and equipment, air conditioner automatic assembly inspection production line, oilfield logging instrument system, high-precision oil filter, smoke control equipment control network system, anti-theft fire alarm system, etc. Products used in other fields, some of which are domestically pioneered, and some reach the level of international similar products.

Many successful national top-level missions such as submarine underwater launch vehicle launches and communications satellite measurements have been successfully completed. The inertial navigation system won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award, and other products won 13 national science conference awards, more than 70 national and ministerial awards, and 28 awards for the seven hospitals. The products are spread over more than 20 provinces and cities nationwide and are well received by users.
