MSO-421 Agile
These ocean going minesweepers were designed to counter North Korean mining during the Korean War. They were capable of sweeping for moored and bottom contact, magnetic and acoustic mines. Thirty-two ships of this class were built at various yards between 1951-56. Fourteen were still in service by 1990; though these would decommission in the next few years.
