Part I, page I-2, section E, 7th paragraph
Change to read:
"During FY97 and FY98, four S-3B Aircraft were modified to employ the AGM-65F Infrared (IR) Maverick Missile. The Maverick modification kits were installed for fleet demonstration project purposes, and presently the IR Maverick Missile is in the Research and Development (R&D) process. The Stores Management System (SMS) scheduled for FY02 installation on all S-3B Aircraft was cancelled, and the AN/ASQ-147 will remain in the aircraft. In FY-00, a new program was begun to develop and integrate a system for the S-3B using information learned from the original proof of concept for aircraft equipment with Maverick Missile systems. This program, identified as the Maverick Plus System (MPS), began initial engineering efforts in the third quarter CY-00 with TECHEVAL conducted during the first quarter of CY01. OPEVAL is planned to begin during the second quarter CY01 with integration into fleet aircraft anticipated to begin in the late summer of CY01. Once installed the system will be designated as AN/AGM-32B(V2).

Part I, page I-2, following section F
Add section G to read:
G. AN/AGM-32(V2) Maverick Plus System. ECP - NADEP NORIS S3B/008-00 is a new system which will introduce loading, control, targeting and launching capabilities for Maverick Missile delivery to the S-3B aircraft. It will also provide the S-3B with full capability for in-flight control and targeting of the SLAM-ER Missile after it has been launched from another platform. Terminal phase control of the SLAM-ER Missile is through data link with the AN/AWW-13 Extended Range Data Link Pod carried by S-3B targeting and control aircraft. The MPS system will add a new offensive capability to the aircraft.

Part I, page I-11, section H, subsection 4, 2nd paragraph
Change to read:
Course updates for AFC 261 and 284 have been incorporated (C-102-9691B is now 10 days shorter). AFC 265 and 266 did not effect course curriculum. AFC 273, 274 and 279 will effect the Electrical (Initial and Career) and Avionics (Initial) courses. AFC 274 will effect the Avionics (Career) course; an update is currently in work and will be included in the next track class in February 2001. Course updates for AFC 273 and 279 are required but have not been received by NAMTRAGRU Headquarters, updates for AFC 273 were received, but were incomplete. A course update for ECP 423 was received but with only a training improvement package; therefore, additional information is required before the courses can be completely updated. Estimates on course lengths and Ready For Training (RFT) dates cannot be made until NAMTRAGRU Headquarters reviews the course update information. Lockheed is currently developing course update information packages. When NAMTRAGRU Headquarters receives the update information, it will be forwarded to NAMTRAGRU Detachments for inclusion into the affected maintenance courses. Course update for ECP-S-3B/008-08 is required. It is in development and will be provided to PMA205 for delivery to NAMTRAGRU Headquarters when completed. The NAWCAD MPS integration team is developing the updated source data. When NAMTRAGRU Headquarters receives the updated information, it will be forwarded to NAMTRAUNIT DETs for inclusion into the affected maintenance courses. Estimate on course lengths and Ready For Training (RFT) dates cannot be made until course update information is received and reviewed by NAMTRAGRU Headquarters. Updates are expected to be delivered in April 2001. A contractor selected by PMA 205/NAWCTSD will update the aircrew training courses with this data.
