- BAE SYSTEMS wins army contracts to develop landmine alternatives BAE Systems 07 Mar 2001 -- BAE Systems has received two of five $2 million contracts from the U.S. Army’s Tank, Automotive, and Armaments Command (TACOM) for the concept exploration phase of a programme to develop alternatives to anti-personnel mines.

- Northrop Grumman Sector Modernizing AEW&EW Facilities Northrop Grumman 07 Mar 2001 -- Northrop Grumman Corporation's (NYSE: NOC) Integrated Systems Sector (ISS) has begun renovating two buildings here as part of a more than $15 million investment in Airborne Early Warning and Electronic Warfare (AEW & EW) facilities in Bethpage. The modernization project is scheduled to be completed in July 2001.
- Air Force Weather Agency Awards IT Services Contract to Logicon Northrop Grumman 07 Mar 2001 -- Logicon Inc., a Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE: NOC) company, has received a contract to provide computer operations and software programming services to the U.S. Air Force Weather Agency (AFWA) at Offutt AFB, Neb. The contract has a potential value of $13 million over five years if all options are exercised.
