- ATK Awarded $7.5 Million Contract to Produce Composite Launch Tubes For Javelin Anti-Tank Weapon ATK 29 Nov 2000 -- ATK (Alliant Techsystems, NYSE: ATK) said it has been awarded a contract valued at $7.5 million from the Raytheon-Lockheed Martin Javelin Joint Venture to continue production of composite launch tubes for the Javelin Anti-Tank Weapon System. The contract represents the first of four annual procurements that could bring the total value of the multi-year program to nearly $27 million by 2004.
- General Dynamics American Overseas Marine Wins $25 Million Operations and Maintenance Contract General Dynamics 29 Nov 2000 -- General Dynamics American Overseas Marine (AMSEA) a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics (NYSE: GD), was recently awarded a $24.8 million contract to operate and maintain a U.S. government-owned Maritime Prepositioning Force ship.

- Lockheed Martin Builds First Atlas V Centaur Lockheed Martin 29 Nov 2000 -- Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company has built the tank for the first new Centaur upper stage that will fly atop the company's Atlas V next-generation rockets. Built at Lockheed Martin's facilities in San Diego, Calif., the Centaur tank arrived at the company's facilities located near Denver, Colo., where final assembly and installation of engines, avionics, harnessing and other components will be completed.
