  • General Dynamics Awarded $10.3 Million Contract Modification For Abrams Systems Technical Support General Dynamics 09 Oct 2000 -- The United States Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command has awarded General Dynamics Land Systems a $10.3 million contract modification to exercise its option to continue Systems Technical Support (STS) for the Abrams tank program through 31 July 2001. The original sole source contract was awarded in May 1996.
  • General Dynamics Joint Venture Awarded Fort Knox Base Operations Support Contract General Dynamics 09 Oct 2000 -- The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), has awarded Armor Center Support Services (ACSS), a joint venture between General Dynamics Land Systems Customer Service and Support Company (CSSC) and Brown and Root Services Company (BRSC), a $104 million contract to perform logistics and public works services for the Fort Knox installation.
  • Lockheed Martin Selected For USAF Satellite Control Center Contract Lockheed Martin 09 Oct 2000 -- The U.S. Air Force has selected Lockheed Martin to sustain and upgrade its ground control centers that operate mission critical research satellites. The five-year, $31 million contract, awarded by the Air Force's Space Test and Evaluation Program Office, is for engineering, development and sustainment activity, and could grow in value if additional tasks are assigned.
