- General Dynamics Successfully Completes Testing of Diesel Tank General Dynamics 11 Apr 2000 -- General Dynamics Land Systems successfully completed testing of its prototype diesel-powered M1A2 Abrams tank at Aberdeen Test Center, Maryland, March 31, 2000.
- Lockheed Martin Conducts Successful Test Of ATACMS Block IA Missile Lockheed Martin 11 Apr 2000 -- Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control - Dallas recently conducted a successful Full-Rate Production (FRP-4) test of the ATACMS Block IA Missile. The test validated the quality of the production line, demonstrated missile to launcher interface, bomblet pattern size and accuracy, performance of systems software, and evaluated thermal material.
- Sanders Completes Delivery of Countermeasures Sets to Turkey Lockheed Martin 11 Apr 2000 -- Sanders, a Lockheed Martin Company, has completed delivery of a large quantity of AN/ALQ-144A(V) infrared countermeasures systems to the Turkish government. Sanders received a $13.8 million U.S. Foreign Military Sales contract in March 1998 to produce the AN/ALQ-144A(V)1 and a smaller number of AN/ALQ-144A(V)5 systems with deliveries scheduled to be completed by December 2000.
