53rd Electronic Warfare Group [53rd EWG]

The 53rd Electronic Warfare Group is Combat Air Forces' primary provider of electronic warfare technical, operational, and maintenance expertise. It is also Air Combat Command's test agency for EW systems.

The 53rd EWG develops and fields improved EW system jamming techniques and threat detection capability through field evaluations, testing, foreign materiel exploitation, and 24-hour contingency response.

The 53rd EWG conducts information operations in support of wing mission.
