Bravo Company, NMCB 74
All issues dealing with maintenance and utilities are Bravo Company's primary concern. Its crews maintain 48 Standing Job Orders (SJO) ranging from weekly air conditioning service to daily boiler checks. In addition, an average of 100 Emergency Service Authorizations (ESA) are received weekly by the trouble desk. Any ESA greater than 16 hours becomes a Maintenance Control Division (MCD) project. Bravo Company serves as prime contractor on utilities projects and as subcontractor on larger projects such as barracks renovation and new construction, where its main concern is electrical and plumbing issues. Peacetime or war, its job is service. In and out of the field Bravo Company can be depended on for water, power, sanitary issues and maintenance of facilities.
