Bravo Company, NMCB 5
The Naval Construction Force camp facilities are a major financial investment that must be maintained in optimum ready condition. To maintain these facilities, a well-organized maintenance program is required and that is the responsibility of Bravo Company.
Bravo Company is made up of several job categories (or ratings): Utilitiesmen (UT), Construction Electricians (CE), Builders (BU), and Steelworkers (SW). Bravo Company has the capability to perform all camp maintenance operations. Given its diversity, Bravo Company not only services the mainbody camp, but also supports contingency camps and other construction projects assigned to the battalion.
Because Bravo Company is a "line company", it must also help defend the battalion during wartime contingencies.
Bravo Company is highly trained, specializing in the maintenance and repair of facilities and camps for the Naval Construction Force.
