Headquarters Company, NMCB 40
The primary mission of Headquarters Company is to provide a variety of services and support to the men and women of Fighting Forty. These hard working, motivated Seabees are comprised primarily of Navy Fleet ratings which include Yeomen, Personnelmen, Legalmen, Mess Management Specialists, Ship's Servicemen, Storekeepers, Disbursing Clerks, Religious Program Specialists, Gunner's Mates, Journalists, Electronics Technicians, Photographer's Mates, Hospital Corpsmen, Dental Technicians, Masters-at-Arms, Information Systems Technicians, and Postal Clerks. In addition, all of the OF-13 (Seabee) ratings are represented as well in key support functions that include Training, Quality Control, Material/Tool Support, Engineering, and Safety.
