9-100th Regiment (Command & General Staff)
The 9th Battalion (C&GS) conducts the Command & General Staff Officers Course at selected locations in TRADOC Region D (Alabama, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee).
CGSOC is the Army's senior tactical course and introduces officers to operational and strategic war fighting. As part of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College, the 9th Bn strives to educate leaders in the values and practices of the profession of arms and to instill the highest standards of personal and professional ethics. The Battalion provides an optimal educational experience by consistently being responsive and flexible enough to meet the changing needs of citizen/soldier scheduling.
