71st Corps Support Battalion
The mission of the 147th Maintenance Company (DS) is to provide direct support maintenance and Class IX supply support to V Corps non-divisional units and reinforcing support to divisional units operating within the Company's area of responsibility (AOR). The unit is also tasked wtih preparing to deploy the Company or a tailored support package as part of a joint, combined, or NATO operation. It is to redeploy forces and material as directed.
The mission of the 317th Maintenance Company is to provide direct support maintenance and class IX supply to non-divisional units operating within the area of responsibility (AOR). The unit is also tasked with being prepared to rapidly deploy the company or a tailored suport package as part of joint, combined, or NATO operation, and with redeploying forces and material as directed.
The mission of the 529th Ordnance Company is to establish and operate one to three geographically dispersed Ammunition Supply Points (ASP) engaged in receiving, storing, rewarehousing, combat configuring, and issuing conventional ammunition using the Palletized Loading System (PLS). The unit also operates one Ammunition Transfer Point (ATP) engaged in transload operations.
The 529th Ordnance Company is responsible for the operations and accountability of two permanant ASPs in the 7ATC footprint. 529th is responsible for receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing, and shipping over 90% of all training ammunition required by units training in USAREUR.
