340th Forward Support Battalion

The 340th FSB is part of the 40th Infantry Division(Mech) in the California Army National Guard. Its mission is to suport a maneuver brigade's tactical operations with supply, maintenance and medical support.

The 340th FSB HHD is located in San Lorenzo just south of Oakland. A Company (supply) is co-located with the HHD. The B Company (Maintenance) is located in Atascadero on the central coast and just ten miles from Camp Roberts, the primary training site for the California Army National Guard. The C Company (Medical) is located in Manhattan Beach which is in the Los Angeles area. A Forward Logistics Element (FLE) consisting of elements of the entire battalion is located in Red Bluff, the northern section of the state.
