110th Aviation Brigade (Training)
110th Aviation Training Brigade conducts all flight training at Fort Rucker and consists of a Headquarters and Headquarters Company, Academics Section, Night Vision Devices Section, and 4 subordinate battalions.
As part of the transformation of the US Army Aviation Warfighting Center to the US Army Aviation Center of Excellence, the United States Army Aviation Training Brigade was inactivated in 2005. The 110th Aviation Brigade (Training) was subsequently activated in its place, taking control of 1st Battalion, 14th Aviation; 1st Battalion, 212th Aviation; and 1st Battalion, 223rd Aviation.
The 1st Battalion, 11th Aviation, which had been passed to the Air Traffic Services Command following the Command's activation in 2003, was eventually reassigned to the 110th Aviation Brigade in 2009.
