100th Troop Command

Troop Command Units have many of the Jobs not found elsewhere in the California Guard. 223rd Military Intelligence Battalion(Linguist) has language teams translating 16 different languages and provided interpreters for the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. 250th Military Intelligence Battalion (TE) has language and reconnaissance teams to support the Corps effort. 49th Military Police Battalion provides security and traffic flow expertise to the command in addition to standard police functions. A Desert Storm Veteran. 3/140th Aviation Battalion provides lift capabilities with CH-47s. 49th Personnel Services Battalion provides personnel support services throughout California, helping soldiers keep their records accurate and up to date. 40th Finance Battalion has Finance Teams that can support thousands of soldiers and units with pay and financial assistance. 59th Army Band provide musical expertise at performances throughout the state. 69th Press Camp Headquarters is our media within the California Guard. Their recording and editing equipment rivals many television stations and currently is deployed to Bosnia. Company A, 5th Battalion, 19th Special Forces is an operational Green Beret Company with world wide deployments and unmatched training.
